Wellness Professional Terms
1. Introduction
These Professional Terms apply to independent professionals offering services through Q Wellness.
Q Wellness is a product of Octopus Ventures.
2. Independent Professional Status
Professionals operate independently and are responsible for their own services, qualifications, professional conduct and obligations.
Listing on Q Wellness does not create an employment relationship.
3. Invitation and Approval
Professional onboarding is invitation-only during the initial launch.
Q Wellness reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend or remove professional listings according to its review and safety standards.
4. Accurate Information
Professionals must provide truthful information concerning qualifications, experience, certifications, licensing, service descriptions, pricing and availability.
5. Professional Standards
Professionals must:
- Operate within their competence
- Follow appropriate safety practices
- Treat customers respectfully
- Maintain accurate availability
- Honor confirmed appointments
- Protect customer information
- Avoid misleading or unsupported claims
- Comply with applicable professional requirements
6. Prohibited Claims
Professionals must not guarantee medical cures, weight-loss outcomes, spiritual healing, financial success or other specific results.
They must not discourage customers from obtaining necessary medical treatment.
7. Services and Pricing
Professionals control their service descriptions, appointment durations and prices, subject to platform policies.
Prices must be disclosed before booking.
8. Platform Commission
The standard Q Wellness marketplace commission is 20% of the eligible booking amount unless a different rate is expressly agreed and recorded in the professional's account.
The applicable commission must be disclosed to the professional before accepting paid bookings.
9. Earnings and Payouts
Professional earnings are calculated from eligible completed bookings after applicable commissions, refunds, adjustments and disclosed charges.
Payout timing and supported methods will be displayed in the professional dashboard or relevant onboarding agreement.
10. Bookings and Attendance
Professionals must honor confirmed appointments and communicate promptly regarding unavoidable changes.
Repeated cancellations or non-attendance may result in account restrictions.
11. Customer Privacy
Professionals must use customer information only for legitimate booking and service-delivery purposes.
Customer information must not be sold, published or used for unrelated marketing without appropriate permission.
12. Reviews
Professionals must not purchase fake reviews, manipulate ratings or pressure customers into submitting positive feedback.
13. Platform Conduct
Professionals must not engage in harassment, discrimination, fraud, exploitation or unsafe conduct.
14. Suspension and Removal
Q Wellness may suspend or remove a professional for material policy violations, misleading credentials, unsafe conduct or repeated booking failures, subject to appropriate review.
15. Content Permission
Professionals grant Q Wellness permission to display approved profile information, photographs, biographies, services and related content for operating and promoting their listings.
Professionals confirm they have the rights to materials they upload.
16. Disputes
Booking and payment disputes will be reviewed using available transaction records and relevant information.
17. Updates
Q Wellness may update these Professional Terms with appropriate notice for material changes.
